Do you like video games?
Then go listen to the guys from madgearsolid.com at BRfm.co.uk or 97.3fm right now.

New Additions
I've managed to purchase not one but two of the Momiji's that I've wanted to add to my collection for a while. So let me introduce you to:
Ruby is a Joanna Zhou Cosplay Momiji and is becoming increasingly rare. I found her in a little costume jewellery shop in The Bay, Cardiff and just had to snap her up. You can find Momiji's in the most unlikely of places.
Sakura is a Joanna Zhou Tinned Collection Momiji, she is one of the most popular Momiji's and therefore very hard to come by these days. I found her on Ebay listed under the miss-spelled name of 'Sakuro' (and therefore I got a total bargain.) So it just goes to show it's worth typing in all the spelling variations you can think of when lurking Ebay.

Hen Weekend
Last week I went on a Hen weekend, which would usually fill me with dread (really not into the whole fancy dress, getting drunk and oiling up some not very attractive male stripper thing.) But this Hen was completely different; we had a very relaxing time at a Spa (I had an Indian Head massage for the first time - they are so good.) We then learnt how to make an array of cocktails, ate wonderful food and then worked it all off by going around an assault course. Plus the only naked man in sight was our Butler in the Buff 'Joyce,' who served us pastries on the patio for breakfast.
This is me learning/demonstrating how to make a Mojito - although I wasn't impressed the Bar Tender made me use Bacardi Rum, you're supposed to use Havana for the authentic flavour. School Boy error.
And this is me stupidly going the hard way on the assault course at Go Ape in the Forest of Dean. I think I'm about 10m - 12m from the ground and I kept getting my shoes stuck in the stirrups (not good) but it was a thoroughly enjoyable day and I'd love to go again.

Stolen From Samboy
I thought I really should post something tonight, as I wont have a chance to over the weekend (I'm going on a 3 day Hen party.) I stole this from Samboy 'cause her answers always make me chortle.

Using My Powers For Good
This weekend has been quite busy on the sewing front. I've made as sash for a lovely lady who is going to a wedding and wanted to 'fancify' her plain black maternity dress.
And I helped Gemma out with a fancy dress costume she's wearing to a Hen weekend, it's an 80's theme if you hadn't guessed already! Gem bought the dress from Ebay and we just had to modify it. It looks a bit weired in the photo but that's because whoever wore the dress before Gem really bent the boning out of shape, but for a quick fix I think we did a pretty good job.
This weekend was also busy on the kitty front too. These two cute little trouble makers are Cassie and Baxter, unfortunately they're not mine but I did get to play with them for a while, which was ace.
Oh yeah and Lenny here let me hang out with him for a bit too. He's the rad-est cat I know.

More Pretties
Also at the vintage fair on Sunday was Sheena Holland. She makes the most wonderful head pieces and I was lucky enough to try some on. They were a little out of my price range but I would definitely want to purchase one for some grandiose event (if I ever get invited to one that is.)
Pretties
Last Sunday I went to a vintage fashion fair in The Coal Exchange, Cardiff. Blind Lemon Vintage organised the event and they always put on a great fair. It was pretty quiet as it wasn't in the usual venue (City Hall) and I guess a lot of people (including me) hadn't realised this, but that meant we (as in myself, Gemma and Delyn) had the pick of some awesome stuff.
Here are all the pretties I picked up at the fair.
Hand made felt brooch made to a 1950s pattern from Rock Follies Vintage
Some fabulous earrings from Random Vintage.
The pink sweetie flowers are my favourite.

Congratualtions...
to my cousin Laura and her fiancée Rhys on their engagement.
Apparently Russell Howard (I heart Russell Howard) was at the engagement party and I only found out 2 days later. Gutted to say the least.
Anyway, enough about my failed attempts of minor celebrity stalking...congratulations Laura and Rhys, I hope you have a wonderful life together, and the next time you see Russ tap him up for some tickets to his next show. Ta.

Little Ralf
This is my brother Hywel aka Smell, he came home from university on Thursday with his lovely girlfriend Becky and brought a gift.
This is Little Ralf, I'm not allowed to know what type of plant he is, so I can be pleasantly surprised when he is fully grown (I have been assured he is completely legal.)
Unfortunately our budgie Jesse has taken a shine to Little Ralf and has started chowing down. Therefore Little Ralf has been relegated to the desk because we don't call Jesse the B.M. (Bastard Murderer) for nothing - we used to have another budgie called Moby, but there was an 'incident'.

Presents in the Post
I was bit of a mardy arsed cow this afternoon, but then I got mail. Whoooooooo. I love mail. Suffice to say it turned that frown upside down. It consisted of a bunch of presents that I had bought for myself and for others and they're all awesome...
...but this one is the awesome-est.
It's a KidRobot Yummy Donut by Heidi Kenney and I got it from Artbox.co.uk, I think they might have sold out but you can still get the Breakfast Donut version.

Arrgh
I am so annoyed right now, I've spent the best part of 4 hours trying to make the blog more visually stimulating but I am totally inept when it comes to computers/the internet (despite a HNC in Graphic Design) and I am right back where I started.
I basically want to generate a custom template and background, I kind of know what I have to do but putting this into practise completely baffles me. If anyone has any hints or tips on how I could do this please let me know (I warn you it will have to be in the simplest of terms because I just don't get techy stuff.)
Any help would be appreciated ^_^

Cymru Am Byth
I learnt how to make a Daffodil this week. I'm pretty pleased about this as it's my country's national flower (Wales - for those of you who were wondering) and I'm pretty patriotic, so now I can crack this baby out every March 1st (St David's Day.)
